Purpose and Responsibility for Due Diligence

The database provided on
woman2womanlawref.com is intended for use as a resource for persons or entities seeking legal representation, legal advice, or legal counseling.  The founder (and sponsors, if any) take no responsibility for the quality of the legal representation one may obtain by engaging a lawyer on the referral list.  Every referring attorney or client seeking to engage an attorney is responsible for conducting appropriate due diligence to determine that the lawyer being considered is well-equipped and skilled enough to perform the service for which she is to be engaged.  Likewise, an attorney receiving a referral through this list may not presume that the matter is an appropriate one for her to undertake.  Each attorney and each matter must be examined by the person who is undertaking the engagement such that all ethical obligations of every person involved are met.

Updates: Alteration of information and regular maintenance will be performed on a weekly to bi-weekly basis.  Accordingly, if you ask to be added or deleted from the database, your request is not likely to be addressed immediately but rather at the next regular updating session.
